I just wanted to change and to see if going back to "wired" mouse would bring me some more responsiveness. I already own a Cyborg R.A.T 9, which I really like but which is a bit "heavy", even removing the maximum things apart from it (anyway, it's still a very good mouse). RAZER DEATHADDER 2013 SENSOR PS3
Had anyone got the same tracking issue on BO2 (or any other PS3 game using the xim edge) ? annoying, really (using "low" sensitivity, like 10 or 11 in the xim edge config manager, 14 (max) sensitivity in the CoD:BO2 PS3 game). So, if you move slowly/gently it can reach max turning speed, if you move faster than a not that fast moving speed threshold, it will lose the tracking of your move. I testet different USB ports, with and without Synapse 2.0. If i set it to 1000Hz it consistently drops to 500Hz, sometimes even up to 2000Hz. If i set the polling rate to 500Hz it fluctuates up to 1000Hz. I'm quite satisfied with that mouse except that is shows (I should test that on other games as well) a tracking issue on BO2 with "fast" movement (where it's losing track of my moves). Razer is simply calling the new mouse the 'DeathAdder 2013,' and it packs in a 6400dpi optical sensor, compared to the 3500dpi infrared sensor of its predecessor. Hi, i got some serious problems with my DeathAdder 2013. Once configured in the synapse 2 tool (setting dpi to 6400 (max) and USB polling rate to 1000 Hz), I can use the same sensitivity profiles as the ones I used with the R.A.T. Well, the feeling is good, the grip is really nice (using claw grip, not palm grip, even on this mouse shape).
RAZER DEATHADDER 2013 SENSOR WINDOWS
but again with laser mice, even when u turn off accel in game/software and put windows 6/11 its still there because well its just built in in the sensor.Well, I just wanted to try a new mouse and thus I bought a brand new Razer Deathadder 2013. usually accel is around 5% or somewhere around that on laser mice but it also matters on your window sens and if u have accel turned on and how much it is set to in game or the mouse software. I can spot accel in any laser mice(since they all have it, except i think the philips twin eye sensors but those had problem with lod or somethign like that). Id rather have better ergonomics of buttons in the places I prefer, or even wireless if that's what floats my boat. I still think the sensor is one of the least important parts of a mouse since on new ones they are all "relatively" good. From what I can see is backed up by the people that find all the niggly faults with mouse sensors. Also being on an eve multiple can solve this completely which is what the Roccat Kone Pure Optical claims to do and is why it has set DPI. Imma try the 3.5G but mine is a 4G sensor. next time I have the mouse plugged in ill take another. so I tried the first one Razer DeathAdder and got a blue screen lel. I did have a screenshot of this but idk where its gone off to. When selection DPI in razer synapse for the DA2013 they recommend you keep it between 1600-1800dpiu for best tracking. The actual acceleration caused by the calculations so the further you are away from the native dpi the worse it is. 6400dpi 4G Optical Sensor Ergonomic right-handed design with textured rubber side grips Five independently programmable Hyperesponse buttons Razer Synapse. From what I can gather the acceleration in is cause by deviating from the native dpi of the sensor. I recently posted about this in another thread. Also not always only acceleration but sometimes prediction which is another annoying thing.Ĭomparing the newest mice with the newer sensors, no and also the prediction/smoothing/angle snapping has been turned off by default for years and is only there unless you enable it yourself.īesides that how much is this acceleration and what does it take to find notice it? Most of what I have seen is only produced the things mentions under testing situations and to a point that it would be noticeable while playing unless your trying to find it, which is something you wouldnt be doing since your playing the game. The accel is there, always though, no matter the DPI.
